In endeavor to reduce effect of conventional Pesticides on human beings science has developed new ways to deviate insects from our crop.
I. Bio Pesticides:
Bio Pesticides fall into three major classes:
- Microbial Pesticides consist of micro organism such as bacteria, fungus, virus and protozoan.
- Plant Incorporated Protectants.
- Bio Chemical Pesticides such as Sex Pheromones.
II. Insect Traps:
The harmful flying insects can be trapped in Pheromone Traps and Light Traps.
III. Plant Protection Equipment:
These are the equipments used for spraying and dusting of Bio Pesticides and Pesticides.
IV. Horticultural Tools:
These tools are used for different type of works on horticultural crops and orchards.
V. Solar Equipments:
These equipments are working by using Solar Energy such as pump set for irrigation purpose, solar light traps, home lighting system and solar power sprayers.
